What is a hand-tufted textile artwork?
A hand-tufted textile artwork is created by inserting yarn through a stretched backing fabricwith a tufting tool. The surface is then carefully finished by hand. Different pile heights, cutand loop techniques and hand-carved details allow us to create depth, contrast andmovement before the work is framed for display.
Are all Grace & Ward artworks one of one?
Yes. Every Grace & Ward artwork is made as a one-of-one piece. We do not produce identicaleditions or recreate a sold work in exactly the same form. Each artwork has its owncomposition, dimensions, colour palette and tactile character.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship Grace & Ward artworks internationally. Shipping costs and estimated deliverytimes depend on the dimensions, weight and destination of the work. These are shown atcheckout where available, or confirmed separately before purchase.
What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods include credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and banktransfer. The options available for your purchase are shown during checkout or confirmed inthe proposal for a Custom artwork.
How should I care for my textile artwork?
Textile artworks generally require little maintenance. Remove surface dust with a clean, softbrush or a vacuum cleaner on a low setting without a rotating brush attachment. Do notapply water or household cleaning products. For stains or damage, contact us at info@graceandward.com beforeattempting to clean the work.
Can you recreate a sold artwork?
We do not reproduce sold works in exactly the same form. If you are drawn to a particularpiece, it can become the starting point for a new Custom artwork. The final design willalways be created as an original one-of-one piece.
How do I request a Custom artwork?
Visit our Custom page and share information about your space, preferred dimensions andinitial ideas. Interior photographs, architectural drawings or colour references are welcome.Anika or Sjoerd will personally contact you to discuss the possibilities and next steps.
How long does a Custom artwork take?
The timeframe depends on the dimensions, design complexity, material requirements andcurrent studio schedule. You will receive an estimated design, creation and delivery periodbefore confirming the Custom artwork. Mention any required completion date in your initialenquiry.
Can I return an artwork?
Available artworks purchased online may generally be returned within the applicable 14-daywithdrawal period. Custom artworks are created to individual specifications and are noteligible for the standard right of withdrawal. Full details can be found on our Shipping &Returns page.
Is a hanging system included?
A hanging system is standard included. The correct installation method depends on thedimensions and weight of the artwork and the construction of the wall.
